This month, we’re happy to celebrate the Irish heritage behind some of our own team members and their families, as well as the 30.7 million U.S. residents that claimed Irish ancestry in 2022.

This month, we’re excited to have officially finished the logo and visual identity for IBIS (Interactive Business Inclusion Solutions). IBIS Consulting Group is a Diversity & Inclusion industry leader, dedicated to building workplaces that thrive on the contributions of all members. They work with both small companies and Fortune 500 giants alike, making the important topic of DEI in the workplace easy for companies to practice and execute. This project was a favorite of ours, given IBIS’s alignment with our “Strength In Our Diversity” core values.

We look forward to continuing our ongoing work with IBIS’s website and beyond!

For this month’s spotlight, we are highlighting our Senior Designer Elvis Lopez’s motion work for Westwood Insurance. Consisting of commercial-quality animations and motion graphics for their social media, marketing, and advertising campaigns, Elvis has created visually stunning and engaging content that has significantly elevated Westwood Insurance's brand presence. Elvis's work exemplifies the dynamic and impactful visual storytelling that embodies Hueman’s commitment to delivering exceptional design and creatives to our clients.

November 2023

Every November is Homelessness Awareness Month (HAM), a month dedicated to shining light on the problems, realities, and solutions behind the homeless epidemic in our country. Led by HomeAid, this year’s HAM will challenge the stereotypes, assumptions, and myths, and shed a necessary light on the realities of homelessness. We were commissioned to build the visual identity and website behind the campaign, which will convert into a year-long effort beyond November moving forward.

We are excited to congratulate our Creative Director Ken Roberson on becoming a member of The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) and an Official Judge of The Webby Awards! Starting 2024 and onward, Ken will be specifically judging the categories of 1. Advertising, Media & PR, 2. Websites (Features), and 3. AI Technology.

Known as the internet’s highest honor, The Webby’s had a record-breaking 14,000 project submissions in 2023. Becoming a part of the judging body is a great honor, and we look forward to seeing IADAS/The Webby’s continue to grow and evolve.

For this month, the folks at SquareKicker featured our FoundrSpace website on their inspiration page.

SquareKicker is one of the leading plugins for Squarespace. Their plugin, which installs directly into your site, equips Hueman Studio with the ability to easily execute web design details that would otherwise be difficult or time-consuming to pull off from a development perspective. August 2023

This month, we would like to bring awareness to HomeAid’s Maui Housing Initiative. HomeAid Hawaii is committed to providing vital assistance to the residents of Maui who have been deeply affected by the recent devastating fires. In response to this urgent situation, HomeAid Hawaii is acting in partnership with Hawaii’s Chief Housing Officer, and in coordination with government emergency management agencies to immediately develop at minimum 500 homes for the displaced residents of Lahaina and the surrounding areas.

We are thrilled to announce that Hueman Studio has been commissioned to revamp and rebrand the visual identity and website of the legendary Whispering Lakes Golf Course, located in the heart of Ontario. With a rich history as part of the PGA tour back in its heyday, this iconic golf course holds a special place in the hearts of golf enthusiasts and the local community alike. Stay tuned for updates as the transformation takes shape, enabling golf enthusiasts, both old and new, to discover the magic of this historic gem in Ontario!

Hueman Studio is honored to have been selected as presenter for Squarespace’s 2nd Annual Circle Day! Circle Day is a “summit for Squarespace creators” where a Squarespace beginners and experts alike come together for a day of networking, growing, and expanding their Squarespace skill set. This year’s theme, titled “Build Your Toolkit” will focus specific on the tools and resources experts use in tandem with Squarespace to create awesome web work. See you there!

March 2023

This March, FoundrSpace, a coworking space owned and operated by Hueman Studio, launched The Corridor art gallery at their Pasadena location. The Corridor, curated by Leo Moleiro, carries a handpicked selection of art from both renowned and emerging local and international artists, creating imaginative and thought-provoking works in a wide spectrum of artistic mediums.

Admission to the gallery is free by appointment only, be sure to stop by for a visit!

This month, the National Healthcare & Housing Advisors (NHHA) invited us to their first annual conference retreat, bringing together the nation’s top homelessness and healthcare experts for two days of presentations, discussions, and networking. Hueman Studio has a strong passion for projects that create positive impact, and we are happy to know the work we are doing alongside NHHA is helping bridge the gap between the homeless, housing, and healthcare.

In the name of Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday and Têt/Lunar New Year celebrations this month, we are reminded of how proud we are that Hueman Studio is a 100% Minority Owned Business (Black and Vietnamese).

To wrap up the end of the year, we are excited at the possibility of earning an accolade from the 2023 Webby Awards. We’ve submitted our Hueman Studio, FoundrSpace Coworking, Driven Studio and HomeAid® website designs to be judged by the world’s best and brightest web creatives. Our fingers are crossed to become an official Nominee, Honoree, or Winner!

November 2022

For this month, as a part of our Hueman Good initiative, we’ve donated our services for auction to Miracles For Kids and their mission to help families with critically ill children. During their fundraising gala, Patrick Standel from West Coast Aviation Services won the bid for a website re-design project. Congratulations to Patrick, and thank you for your contribution to Miracles!

As a part of our Hueman Good campaign, this month we donated our services to Fontana Little League Baseball by designing a logo for Noah (CP’s 3-year-old son) and his baseball team, the Little Bandits. Special shout out to Elvis Lopez for killing it on the logo design — those uniforms are definitely going to turn out super cute. Let’s go Little Bandits!

As a part of our Hueman Good campaign, we’ve donated our services for auction to Illumination Foundation's battle against homelessness in Orange County. During their annual fundraising gala, Shelly Kim from The Duchess on Cambridge was the lucky bidder for a website re-design project. Congrats Shelly!

June is Pride Month! This month, we are featuring a pride-themed illustration from our very own Elvis Lopez. Known on Instagram as “Mr. Elo,” Elvis enjoys illustrating vintage-inspired design during his spare time as a self-proclaimed lover of all things old and spooky.

We are excited to announce that FoundrSpace, a coworking space owned and operated by Hueman Studio, is opening a new location in Pasadena, CA!

All 30,000 sq. ft. of the new location will be dedicated to combining Foundr’s unique brand of coworking to Pasadena’s the vibrant culture and history.

Happy 8th Birthday to Creative Squeeze! Also, this month we are welcoming Carly Harris to the team. Carly is a talented, multidisciplined designer fresh from undergrad with an Honors degree in Art & Design. Carly has a keen eye for detail, design, and illustration, and we are excited to have her around for extra company, and extra help with our projects.
